These methods of marketing are often referred to as the „dark side of marketing“. This is because it works… but you can’t hold on to these methods for long. There’s a ton of competition out there, and if you don’t change every 6 months or so, your income will start crashing down to earth just like that – note how I didn’t show any nimbers? That’s because they keep changing…

SECRET #2: Build your mailing list!

Even if you never start affiliate marketing out there: those with no clue what they’re doing and those who’ve been at this years already earned their first million (or several). The latter group will never share their secrets with you. They want to keep all this for themselves, otherwise everyone would be successful and there would be no room for them left at the top of the hill. So, they stick to teaching how to start an e-commerce store, or something like that. I wouldn’t know…

This is one of the main reasons why most affiliate marketers fall at what they do. They try to follow in the footsteps of others and don’t have they unique style… but this simply doesn’t work. No one will want to follow your lead if you have nothing special to offer – so figure out your own path and start building a reputation for yourself instead of trying to copy what everyone else is does.

SECRET #5: Try (and fail) at something new!

Everyone has that feeling that they’re missing out on some new technique that everyone is talking about. Many people are afraid of trying something new, because what if it doesn’t work? There’s no point in doing that – just try your best and fail or succeed. It’s all up to you how you look at things. If you have that feeling that something is missing out there, don’t be afraid to take a step out of your comfort zoneand try to find it yourself. You’ll be surprised by how many different ways there are to make an income online..

SECRET #6: Keep it REAL!

The main problem with newbie is that they either can’t stay true to their word or they overpromise the impossible. They’re trying to convince their prospects that getting the desired result will be a total piece of cake, when in fact it’s going to take months or even years to see some significant results. If you don’t stay true to yourself and keep your message REAL, no one will trust you, and you’ll lose all creditability out there.. And what good is an affiliate marketing reputation if no one trusts you?

SECRET #7: Get REAL traffic!

You can’t expect to get any decent income if you’re only driving fake (meaning nonlegit) traffic out there. There are several different ( and free!) ways to do this, but it’s up to you you to find the silver bullet that works for you and your business.

SECRET #8: Outsource what you can afford to pay for!

If you want to scale things up in your online business, there’s no way around this. As long as the only person doing any work around here is you, it’s kust not going to happen. If you’re serious about building a real business online, get used to the idea of outsourcing and don’t let your ego get in the way. You’ll come up with 100 reasons why you can’t afford hiring someone else, but trust me – if this person isn’t working for you, he or she will be working for your competition in no time…

SECRET #9: Build a strong relationship with customers!

If you don’t believe that it’s possible to build a business without pissing people off, think again. There are millions of people who already have an online business and only need ONE more customer to make their dream come true with your help. The only way to do this is by building a long-lasting and strong relationship between you and your customers (and I’m not talking about spamming all the time). Treat every person as though they were your only customer!

SECRET #10: Be creative!

This last secret may be the most important of them all. If you are not coming up with new ways to your business, someone else will! New affiliate marketing methods appear every day, and if you don’t keep up with them, there’s no way that you’ll still be around in a couple of months… So, take the time every day to learn about new online marketing trends and improve your business. Trust me, this one is really important!
